Market Access and Launch Consultant

In this newly created position, his position combines market access and launch strategy to support our US clients seeking to optimize access for their products going to market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support project leadership to define project scope and develop approach
Provide market insights by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Market Access (Payer, IDN, Trade) landscape, healthcare reform, claims data and managed care data
Launch readiness capabilities: cross functional planning, asset strategy and stakeholder mapping and launch plan development
Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project related findings and coordinating team meetings
Monitor trends and potential coverage and reimbursement issues, existing and emerging government and payer policies, competitive pricing and contracting strategies, and potential barriers to provider and patient access
Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams
Provide thought leadership and innovation within the Market Access practice
Participate in business and strategy development
Requirements
Education, Experience and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required, MBA preferred
4 - 8 years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical market access and pricing
Experience in Product Launch Support
Experience with payer and pricing research methodologies
Familiarity with drug registration requirements for government sponsored healthcare programs (primarily Medicare)
Experience arranging discussion groups, creating surveys, interviewing respondents, analyzing data
High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
Superior oral and written communication skills
MS Office proficient
Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
Additional Information: 25% travel may be required
